School - Special Tutorial Session
The Special Tutorial Session (School) in solid state physics will take place just before the Conference, on Saturday and Sunday (4-5 June 2022). There will be five lectures during the school given by outstanding scientists and addressed to undergraduate, PhD students, and young researchers. The aim is to expose young people to new ideas and concepts from the frontier of semiconductor physics, and provide an opportunity to interact with renowned scientists, leaders of their field of study.
Invited speakers
Adam Gali, Wigner Research Centre for Physics, Hungarian Academy of Science, Budapest, Hungary
Theoretical magneto-optical spectroscopy for solid state defect quantum bits
Armando Genco, Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy
Nonlinear interactions of excitons and polaritons in atomically thin semiconductors
Jacek Kasprzak, Institut Néel, CNRS Grenoble, France
Optical coherence of confined excitons inferred with nonlinear spectroscopy
Paweł Kwaśnicki, ML System, Poland
Thin-films in photovoltaic applications- trends, novelties and perspectives
Dmitri Yakovlev, TU Dortmund, Germany
Spin physics in lead halide perovskites
